Afternoon Camp
Where afternoons are filled with fun, friends and fabulous activities!!! We partner with the River Vale Mayors Wellness Campaign and design all our programs to ensure we are providing a balance of fitness and emotional development. Part of the Fitness with Friends program, Camp Fun In The Sun strives to ensure kids are active, strengthening their minds, bodies and souls! There are no electronics allowed during camp time which means kids are focused on the fun activities of the day!
Caring and experienced Staff
Being a staff member at Camp Fun In The Sun is far more than a summer job.
Sending a child to camp is a tremendous act of faith by parents. At Camp Fun In the Sun, staff take that responsibility very seriously and maintain an environment that encourages both safety and health and reinforces a positive self-image. Staff aim to provide campers with opportunities for growth, encourage their natural abilities and instill in them the benefits of participating in a group.
Our ultimate goal is to provide an enjoyable, exciting summer experience that motivates our campers to approach the future with courage, confidence and a feeling of self-worth.

Atmosphere of Inclusion
Inclusion is an important part of our DNA at Camp. We encourage continuous skill development throughout the summer; stress personal development no matter what the inherent ability of a camper may be; and lastly, work to create an atmosphere of attention and care for the individual. We ensure that al campers are folded into the daily activities by encouraging their need to be noticed and appreciated. No camper will be sitting on the sidelines here! Kindness and respect are discussed daily.
Action-Packed Activities
We have created a camp filled with activities that kids LOVE. We have highly experienced staff who have years of experience teaching and coaching. The day is filled with sports (soccer, basketball, touch football, GAGA and more), games, water play, STEAM activities, nature hikes, special events and pizza parties!
